St. Croix Administrator Sammuel Sanes Announces Cleanup of Towns

ST. CROIX.— The St. Croix Administrator’s Office, in collaboration with the VI Waste Management Authority, the Department of Public Works, the VI Fire Service, and the VI Police Department, has scheduled cleanups in the towns of Frederiksted and Christiansted respectively, Government House has announced. Last week, residents took it upon themselves to cleanup King Street in Christiansted, with a video of the effort posted on the Consortium's Facebook platform garnering more 40,000 views, as residents thanked the men, led by Ricky Messer, for the work. On Thursday between 8:00 a.m. and noon, crews will pick up trash and pressure wash the sidewalk on Strand Street in Frederiksted, from the Athalie Petersen Public Library to the Eliza James McBean Clock Tower at Buddhoe Park, according to the release.
