Man Arrested in Connection With November 2019 Burglary

ST. CROIX —  The V.I.P.D. Criminal Investigation and Special Operations Bureaus on Saturday at 5:59 a.m. conducted a joint operation resulting in the arrest of 35-year-old Jonathan Scribner of Sprat Hall, V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Toby Derima has announced. Scribner was charged with third-degree assault stemming from an incident that occurred on November 11, 2019, at a residence in Estate Whim. Bail for Scribner was set at $30,000, which he was unable to post. He was subsequently turned over to the custody of the Bureau of Corrections pending his advisement hearing.
