Man Fatally Shot in WICO Parking Lot

ST. THOMAS — A shooting incident early Saturday has left one man dead, the V.I. Police Department has confirmed to the Consortium. The incident occurred at 12:58 a.m. in the West Indian Company (WICO) parking lot. Previously, the VIPD said the incident occurred at the Havensight parking lot, however WICO on Tuesday confirmed at the shooting took place on its grounds. "The West Indian Company Ltd.  is cooperating fully with the Virgin Islands Police Department to provide evidence relevant to the investigation of last weekend's shooting incident that resulted in the loss of life," said Anthony Ottley, WICO CEO.
