Alleged Cyber Stalker and Aggravated Harasser of Ex-Girlfriend Turns Himself In

ST. CROIX — A 30-year-old man from St. Croix turned himself in to authorities on June 25 on charges of cyber harassment and contempt of court. The individual, identified as Raheem Wyre, surrendered at the Wilbur H. Francis Command Police Station and was charged with harassment by telephone, cyber-stalking and cyber-harassment, and contempt of court. His arrest was a result of a five-month investigation by the Economic Crimes Unit that began in February 2023. The investigation revealed that Wyre persistently harassed the victim by contacting her place of employment at Silver Airways, even after a Civil Protection Order was filed against him with the Superior Court. In spite of the order, he continued to verbally threaten the victim's life and used multiple fake pages for harassment. An arrest warrant was issued for Wyre on June 2.
