Repeat Offender Currently Serving Suspended Sentence Arrested Again After Assaulting Wendy's Customer

ST. THOMAS — A man who is currently serving a one-year suspended sentence is back before the courts after he assaulted a woman in a fast food establishment.  Police were summoned to the Wendy's in Fourwinds Plaza on Friday afternoon. There, they spoke with an employee who told them that a man had entered the restaurant and accosted a female customer, demanding that she buy him a soft drink. The woman reportedly declined, following which the man reportedly pushed her to the ground and picked up a chair.  He raised the chair over his head, but before he could bring it down on the frightened woman, the employee intervened and chased the aggressive man out of the store. Police found him near the Fourwinds Laundry and identified him as Koi Thomas. He was arrested and transported to the Criminal Investigation Bureau for processing.
