DHS Announces Crisis Intervention Fund Mini Grants of $20,000 to Support Youth and Families

The V.I. Dept. of Human Services has announced the fiscal year 2023 Crisis Intervention Fund grant opportunity for eligible nonprofit and nongovernmental organizations. The award period for the grant is from January 1, 2023 – September 30, 2023, and a total of five mini grants of $20,000 each will be awarded. DHS said grants provided through Crisis Intervention Fund are designed to supplement other funding sources directed at addressing service provision to families and youth in the territory. The fund was established by the V.I. Legislature on October 13, 1994, and signed into law as Act No. 7159, to help support families and youth experiencing crisis.
