Emergency Nurses Week Highlight: Shenequa Dore

Editor's Note: V.I. Consortium has joined with emergency nurses at the Juan F. Luis Hospital to highlight some of these outstanding first responders as part of Emergency Nurses Week, an annual celebration dedicated to those who selflessly devote themselves to their patients. This year's theme is "Grit of Emergency Nurses". Today, the spotlight is on Shenequa Dore. “The Governor Juan F. Luis Hospital and Medical Center’s Emergency Department has an amazing group of healthcare professionals working together and supporting each other. It is not about the individual, it is about the team,” says Shenequa Dore, RN, who began her Emergency Department Nursing career on August 5, 2005. “I am fortunate and happy to be part of this dynamic team.” Since the age of fifteen, working in the medical field has always been her dream.
