Woman Facing Assault and Other Charges For Striking Officer, Damaging Husband's Office Among Other Alleged Crimes

ST. CROIX- A mother of two is facing aggravated assault and other charges after she sped away from the police officers, one of whom she struck with her vehicle. Tamysha Ramos-Osorio is charged with aggravated assault and battery, disturbance of the peace by fighting and operating a vehicle in a reckless manner. She is also charged with destruction or property and simple assault and battery, both categorized as crimes of domestic violence. According to the probable cause fact sheet, police were summoned to a business place at Estate Diamond Suite just before 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, in reference to a man reporting that his wife was at his office damaging items and causing a disturbance. Upon arrival, the female officer observed another female officer standing behind a vehicle which the second officer tapped on several times, ordering an unknown individual to exit the vehicle.
