Berserk Ex-Lover of 3 Months Threatens to Kill Victim, Damages Her Vehicle, Brags About Sleeping With New Woman in Her Bed

ST. JOHN — A man has been slapped with a series of charges following the alleged ongoing harassment and intimidation of his ex-girlfriend, after she ended their three-month relationship. Shawn Chichester, 42, appeared for a virtual hearing on Monday where he was advised of the charges against him. These include third-degree assault, disturbance of the peace, unlawful entry and destruction of property, all categorized as crimes of domestic violence. Chichester also faces charges for grand larceny and telephone harassment.  The victim alleged that on Tuesday October 5th at around 10:40 pm, Chichester found out where she was staying with a friend and showed up at the residence. According to the woman, the defendant texted her to come outside because he wanted to see her, but she refused. She said he began to throw rocks at the residence which prompted her to come out and confront him.
