ST. THOMAS — Police have identified two men shot and killed in separate incidents in St. Thomas Tuesday.

According to police, 33-year-old Carlos Amauris Garcia Dominguez was identified as the victim of the Fortuna homicide, while 50-year-old Frederick Martin was identified as the victim of the Kronprindsens Gade shooting.
Fortuna Homicide
The first homicide was reported in Fortuna at 5:44 a.m. after citizens called the 911 Emergency Call Center.
According to the police report, units from the Richard N. Callwood Command traveled to the Fortuna area and observed an unresponsive male, who appeared to have suffered multiple gunshot wounds about his body. Emergency Medical Technicians, who were on scene, concluded that the male did not have any vital signs.
Kronprindsens Gade homicide
According to the police report, on Tuesday at 6:16 p.m. a citizen contacted 911 and reported that there may be a male in need of assistance in an abandoned house in the vicinity of Kronprindsens Gade. The caller indicated that the male may have been possibly shot.
Upon responding officers’ arrival, contact was made with a black, unresponsive male who appeared to have been shot multiple times about the body.
Emergency Medical Technicians arrived on the scene and concluded that the male did not have any vital signs.
