ST. CROIX — The V.I. Police Department is searching for 27-year-old Eryk Simon in connection with Sunday’s double homicide near La Terraza Bar and Restaurant in Castle Coakley that killed brothers Yordani Eduardo, 30, and Delli Eduardo, 25. Police warn that Simon is armed and dangerous and may be operating a white four-door Mazda SUV bearing plate CIQ 191.
VIPD issued the wanted notice Sunday through its Forensic/Identification Section and Criminal Investigation Bureau, listing Simon as wanted for double homicide. The notice identifies his aliases as “Erick” and “Yunoir.”
According to the notice, Simon was born in the Dominican Republic and is described as 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighing approximately 180 pounds. He has black braided hair, brown eyes and a dark complexion. Police list Richmond and Watergut among the areas he frequents.
The search follows the fatal shooting of the Eduardo brothers early Sunday morning.
At approximately 4:13 a.m., the St. Croix 911 Emergency Call Center received multiple calls reporting two gunshot victims in the vicinity of La Terraza Bar and Restaurant in Castle Coakley.
VIPD Director of Communications Glen Dratte said officers and Emergency Medical Services personnel responded to the scene and found one of the brothers lying on the ground, unresponsive, with an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The second brother was taken by private vehicle to Juan F. Luis Hospital, where he was subsequently pronounced dead.
Their next of kin later identified both victims.
The Criminal Investigation Bureau is investigating the shooting as a double homicide.
Sunday’s killings raised St. Croix’s homicide count to 17 for 2026. Combined with 13 homicides recorded on St. Thomas, the territory has now recorded 30 homicides this year.
Police are asking anyone who sees Simon not to approach him. Those with information about his whereabouts are asked to call 911 or Major Crimes of the Criminal Investigation Bureau at 340-778-2211. Information may also be provided anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
VIPD also warned that anyone harboring Simon will be prosecuted.
