Man Allegedly Pulled Off Moving Scooter, Robbed of Cash; Suspect Arrested

ST. THOMAS — Bail has been set for a man accused of stealing money from an individual in a daring daylight robbery. Zedikhi Innis is alleged to have stopped a man who was riding his scooter in the area of Rumer Drive early on Tuesday morning, grabbing him by his shirt and pulling him off the scooter. The man told police that he fell to the ground when Innis pulled him. He further reported that while Innis had grabbed him by the collar with one hand, he used the other hand to reach into his pocket and take out his money. The fact sheet did not indicate how much money was stolen. According to the individual, Innis then left, but the victim remained in the area until police arrived.  When officers arrived at the location the alleged victim was able to point out Innis as the perpetrator.
