29-Year-Old Man Fatally Shot Near Bar in Grove Place, VIPD Investigates

ST. CROIX — The V.I. Police Department has announced that it is actively investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Saturday evening in Grove Place, resulting in the death of 29-year-old Dasha Graham. According to police at approximately 6:15 p.m. on June 21, the 911 Emergency Call Center was alerted to multiple gunshots fired near the Cozy Corner area of Grove Place. The notification came via the department’s ShotSpotter system, a gunshot detection technology used to monitor and respond to firearm discharges in real time. Shortly after the initial alert, a caller contacted emergency services to report that a male individual may have been injured in the incident. Responding officers later confirmed that the man had succumbed to his injuries. He was identified at the scene by a family member as Dasha Graham.
