ST. CROIX — A man suspected of breaking into a woman’s residence and assaulting her was taken into custody following an investigation by the V.I. Police Department. The incident occurred on February 15 and led to the swift apprehension of 22-year-old Omarion Webbe. At approximately 2:17 p.m. on February 15, the 911 Emergency Call Center received a distress call from a woman who reported an intruder in her home. The caller's connection was lost before she could provide further details. Responding to the call, VIPD patrol officers arrived at the scene, where the complainant described the suspect as a Black male wearing a gray shirt and shorts.
