Man Arrested for Allegedly Raping 11-Year-Old Girl

ST. CROIX — Police on Tuesday arrested a 34-year-old man who allegedly raped a 11-year-old girl.

According to police spokesman Toby Derima, on October 27 at around 10:06 a.m., police arrested Miguel A. Llanos of Mon Bijou, and charged him with first-degree aggravated rape, domestic violence, first-degree unlawful sexual contact and child abuse. 

Llanos reportedly sexually assaulted the 11-year-old female on October 19.

In according with the territory's domestic violence laws, Llanos was not offered bail, according to police.

He was turned over to the custody of the Bureau of Corrections pending his advisement hearing.
