6,210 Virgin Islanders Have Already Voted; Election Supervisor Extends Hours For Last Two Days to 5:00 p.m.

Supervisor of Elections Caroline Fawkes on Friday announced that because of the "overwhelming success" of early voting, hours for the two last days of early voting — Saturday and Sunday — have been extended through 5:00 p.m. Early voting on both days will commence at 9:00 a.m., according to Ms. Fawkes. The number of electors who have participated in early voting as of Friday is as follows: St. Thomas-2,941, St. Croix-3,066, and St. John-203, a total of voters’ territory-wide-6,210. Early Voting locations are as follows: St. Croix Elections Office- Sunny Isle Shopping Center, Unit 26, 1st Floor (Former Movie Theatre location between Master Insurance Agency and Nav Jeweler) • St. Thomas - Charlotte Amalie High School Gymnasium St. John Elections Office- Market Place Suite II   Ms. Fawkes pleaded with voters not to wait until the last minute to cast their ballot.
