Taste of St. Croix is taking place in downtown Christiansted this year on Nov. 15 at a variety of locations, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., according to organizers. Event creator Collin Hodge along with partner Caravelle Hotel & Casino promise to “transform Christiansted into a culinary showcase.” Here are some highlights: The event will take the form of a street block culinary soiree, with a pre-event reception and after-parties throughout the historic town of Christiansted. Thirty to 35 restaurants and caterers will participate. Wines and liquor distributors from around the globe will be on site. The Spectrum Band and R&B Connections will be performing live on two stages. There will be four after-parties (Company House Hotel, Caravelle Arcade, Cloud 9 and Balter.
