St. Thomas Arrests: June 8-12

VIPD Public Information Officer Kevin Jackson announced the following arrests on St. Thomas from June 8-12. Monday, June 8, 2015 – Teshawn Turnbull, 21 of Bergs Home, was placed under citizen’s arrest after he was identified as the male who came to a complainant’s place of work and created a disturbance. Bail for Turnbull was set at $500 by court order. Monday, June 8, 2015– Cecil Jay Rushing, 55 of the sailing vessel “Happy Hours” Cruz Bay, was arrested and charged with simple assault after being positively identified as the individual that strangled a woman. Bail for Rushing was set for at $500 by court order. Wednesday, June 10, 2015 – Ralph Filandro Every, 37 of sailing vessel “Windstar 357” John Brewer’s Beach was arrested and charged with third degree assault after he was positively identified as the person who held a knife to a male’s throat and threatened to kill him.
