Boat Registration Deadlines Announced

ST. THOMAS -- The Department of Planning and Natural Resources (DPNR) has announced registration dates for commercial fishing as well as recreational boating in the territory. According to the department, recreational boat and mooring registration runs from June 1 to 30, and July 6-8 for commercial licensing and boat registration on St. Croix. DPRN also reminded commercial fishers to call the Division of Fish and Wildlife (DFW) at 340-773- 1082 for an appointment slot, as fishers will receive a collaborative presentation and outreach from DPNR, NOAA Fisheries, US Coast Guard and National Park Service, which may require 40 minutes prior to registration. On St. Thomas, recreational boat and mooring registration runs from June 1 to 30, and July 13-15 for commercial licensing and boat registration.
