ST. CROIX —The V.I. Waste Management Authority issued a notice over the weekend informing residents that the Anguilla Landfill will, until further notice, not be accepting green waste at the facility.

This means that leaves, grass clippings, plants, hedge trimmings, branches, and trunks less than 4 feet will not be accepted at the landfill, WMA said.

Community members are advised to make alternative arrangements to dispose of green waste. More information can be obtained from VIWMA’s Division of Education and Communications MAagemet at 340.513.4171.
