ST. CROIX — V.I.P.D. officers on Monday at roughly 5:54 a.m. arrested 35-year-old Christopher Carter of Coral Princesse Condominiums, and charged him with first-degree assault, domestic violence, first-degree robbery and grand larceny, V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Toby Derima has announced.
According to the news release, the female victim reported that at about 12:41 Monday morning, Carter assaulted her, taking her mobile phone and cash. The victim sustained injuries as a result, police said.
Carter was not offered bail in accordance with the territory’s domestic violence statutes, and he was remanded to the Golden Grove Detention Center pending his advisement hearing.
