Territory's Students Compete For Junior Tourism Commissioner

ST. THOMAS -- The Department of Tourism will host the annual Inter-Island Junior Tourism Commissioner Competition here on Friday, according to a press release DOT issued on Thursday. The event will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the Department of Tourism Welcome Center on Kronprindsens Gade. The winner will be named Junior Tourism Commissioner for 2015/2016 and will join Beverly Nicholson-Doty, commissioner of tourism, at the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) State of the Industry Conference in Curacao this October to present at a Caribbean-wide competition with other students from around the region.
