CFVI Opens Scholarship Applications for 2024-2025 Academic Year

The Community Foundation of the Virgin Islands has officially launched its annual scholarship cycle for the 2024-2025 academic year, inviting applications from both graduate and undergraduate students.  Last year, CFVI disbursed a total of $178,455 in scholarships to 63 students, continuing its legacy of support that has resulted in more than $3.8 million in awards since its inaugural scholarships in 1996. Initiated through a bequest from Anna Green Walsh. Walsh is remembered for her dedication to social work and her deep connections within the community, leaving a lasting legacy that has supported Virgin Islands students for decades. Eligibility for the 2024-2025 scholarship cycle is open to seniors in, or graduates of, U.S. Virgin Islands high schools. Students who graduated from high schools outside the territory due to the Covid-19 pandemic or Hurricanes Irma and Maria are also eligible for consideration.
