Twelve Men Beat Estate Grove Place Man, Ransacked His Home After Finding No Money

ST. CROIX -- Twelve men entered the home of a man who lives in Estate Grove Place last Friday and proceeded to beat the victim repeatedly, punching him about the body and also using the butt of a gun to assault the man after finding no money in his house, VIPD Public Information Officer Kevin Jackson has announced. According to the claimant, last Thursday afternoon he entered his Estate Grove Place residence at 3:00 p.m. and was approached by several men unknown to him. The men struck the victim on his head with the butt of a gun and ordered him into the house. As he complied with the men and entered the home, he discovered that there were seven men already inside of the home, while five others stayed outside. The claimant stated that two of the men, both of them brandishing guns, sat him in a chair and stood on either side of him as they demanded money, threatened to shoot him and ransacked the home.
