DPNR Division Of Libraries Receives $33,000 Worth Of Books

ST. CROIX -- Department of Planning and Natural Resources Commissioner Dawn L. Henry announced via press release on Monday that DPNR's Division of Libraries, Archives and Museums received a large pallet of brand new hardback books as a result of the Division’s participation in the Library of Congress Surplus Books Program. Staff at the Charles W. Turnbull Regional Library welcomed the arrival of the brand new books last Friday, November 6, 2015, according to the release. "It’s the Division’s plan to use the surplus books to maximize the collections in the Turnbull Regional Library’s main reading room, then distribute any remaining books to all public libraries territory-wide," said Commissioner Henry.
