The Virgin Islands Port Authority (VIPA) is calling for bids to provide On-Call Fencing Services at its Airport and Seaports in the St. Croix District. These services will be rendered on an as-needed basis and may require twenty-four-hour availability and immediate response. Only fixed hourly flat rates will be considered for this contract. The Maintenance Manager will oversee and direct these services.

To submit proposals in response to this Request for Proposals (RFP), interested parties must electronically submit their responses through the Authority's electronic procurement system at https://viportbids.ionwave.net. The submission deadline is 2:00 p.m. AST on Tuesday, July 11, 2023.

The selected bidder will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the installation and maintenance of perimeter fencing. Emergency repairs to damaged fencing must also be promptly addressed to prevent any security breaches. The duration of the contract for these services will be one year, with two one-year extensions at the Authority's discretion.

The Authority reserves the right to award multiple contracts for this requirement and reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Additional or alternative selection criteria may be imposed as deemed necessary by the Authority.
