Water Production on St. Croix Continues to Hold Steady, Government Says

The USVI Joint Information Center, organized to provide government-supplied information during times of disaster, announced Thursday that water production levels at the V.I. Water and Power Authority’s water plant on St. Croix remained at normal levels on Wednesday. The joint effort between the Government of the Virgin Islands and the Federal Emergency Management Agency is aimed at preventing the large influx of sargassum seaweed from disrupting normal water production on the island continues.
