St. Croix is set for a full week of high-energy celebrations as Island Vybez Promotions delivers two major events at The Fred, blending daytime vibes with nighttime elegance to close out 2025 in style.
The festivities begin on Sunday, December 28, with the return of Sunny Side Up – Scenes of Santorini (Festival Edition), St. Croix’s signature all-inclusive brunch and mimosa day party. Running from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., the event transforms The Fred into a Greek-inspired escape, complete with a Brunch Chic dress code in shades of blue that sets the tone for a stylish daytime experience.
Sunny Side Up features a powerhouse entertainment lineup led by DJ King Kembe, appearing in the Virgin Islands for the first time from Sint Maarten, alongside Avalanche 10, widely recognized as one of the Caribbean’s hottest DJs; Malcom Vex, official DJ for Asa Banton; Kareem International out of Orlando; J’Shante International; and Syndicate Sounds.
Admission includes unlimited mimosas from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., as well as brunch favorites available while supplies last. The event is 21+. Just days later, Island Vybez Promotions will usher in the New Year with Midnight Opulence, an upscale New Year’s Eve celebration scheduled for Wednesday, December 31, also at The Fred.
Billed as an unforgettable New Year’s experience, Midnight Opulence brings together top-tier entertainment, headlined by DJ Young Chow of Hot 97 in New York, DJ Avalanche, The VI Dream Team out of St. Thomas, and Syndicate Sounds. As the clock strikes midnight, guests will enjoy free champagne during the official Midnight Countdown, welcoming 2026 in celebratory fashion.
