Plaskett Tours C.A.H.S. With Members of Congress

Delegate to Congress Stacey Plaskett on Tuesday toured the Charlotte Amalie High School with her colleagues in Congress who make up the House Ways and Means Committee. During the tour, the elected officials were able to have frank discussions with V.I. Dept. of Education staff "to discuss the needs and challenges they have faced as it relates to rebuilding process and the learning loss and other major challenges that the students and teachers have been facing since the 2017 storms and continuing through the pandemic," according to release Ms. Plaskett's office issued. Said the Congresswoman: “Yesterday, I along with several members of Congress, visited Charlotte Amalie High School (CAHS) which is the largest public high school on St Thomas.
