ST. THOMAS — V.I. Police Department officers on Friday at 8:49 p.m. arrested E’Jaiey Grant, age 23 of Oswald Harris Court and charged him with possession of an unlicensed firearm, announced Public Information Officer Toby Derima.
According to the police report, during an inspection of a residence, police officers discovered several firearms which grant admitted to owning. Grant, however, failed to show that he was licensed to possess firearms, Mr. Derima said.
Unable to make bail of $50,000, Grant was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advisement hearing.
This case continues to be under investigation, Mr. Derima said in the release.
