ST. THOMAS – Police on Sunday arrested and charged a man with third-degree assault, domestic violence for allegedly assaulting a woman while she held her minor child.
According to police spokesman Toby Derima, on Sunday at approximately 3:30 a.m., police arrested Emile Ronaldo Lake, age 41 of Frydendahl for the alleged crime and held him without bail in according with the territory's domestic violence laws.
The victim told police that Lake physically assaulted her while she was holding her minor child.
Lake will be held in jail until his advisement hearing in court, said Mr. Derima.
