Another Man is Shot Dead in St. Thomas, Bringing Homicide Count on the Island to Three in Four Days

ST. THOMAS — A 25-year-old man succumbed to his injuries after sustaining multiple gunshots wounds in the wee hours of Wednesday morning in Estate Thomas, V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Toby Derima has announced.

According to police, on Wednesday at approximately 12:25 a.m., the 911 Emergency Call Center received a call from a concerned citizen of shots fired in Estate Thomas. Officers traveled to the area and located an unresponsive black male sitting in the driver’s seat of a vehicle with what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds about his body.

Emergency Medical Technicians on scene concluded that the male did not have any signs of life.

The victim was identified by next of kin as 25-year-old Mikal Dore.

Late Sunday night, two men were shot dead in the Oswald Harris Court. 

Around 11:30 p.m. Sunday, the 911 Emergency Call Center received a report of shots fired in the vicinity of the public housing community. Responding officers found a vehicle with two unresponsive males with multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency Medical Technicians, who were on scene, determined the victims were already dead.

The victims were identified by next of kin as 23-year-old Carlos Ingles and 25-year-old Endry Montero Bacili.
