Two Men Shot Dead in Oswald Harris Court on St. Thomas

ST. THOMAS – Two men were found shot to death in the Oswald Harris Court housing late Sunday night, according to the VI Police Department. 

Around 11:30 p.m., the 911 Emergency Call Center received a report of shots fired in the vicinity of the public housing community. Responding officers found a vehicle with two unresponsive males with multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency Medical Technicians, who were on scene, determined the victims were already dead.

The victims were identified by next of kin as 23-year-old Carlos Ingles and 25-year-old Endry Montero Bacili.

The killings were just the latest in a violent beginning to 2020. “This is a senseless act of violence and the VIPD is seeking the assistance of anyone with information regarding the killing of these young men,” said St. Thomas/St. John District Chief of Police Ludrick Thomas in a prepared statement. “Anything you may have heard, seen or know could be of value to us in bringing closure to this case.”
