Tortola BVI — The British Virgin Islands on Thursday recorded its second homicide of the year just one week following the island's first murder of 2020.
The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (R.V.I.P.F.) confirmed the incident Thursday night, stating that the victim, identified as 50-year-old Matthew Daly, a resident of Fat Hog's Bay in Tortola, was found unresponsive in the Spring Gut area of the island during the afternoon time.
The victim, who as shot, was pronounced dead on the scene, according to police.

"Persons with any information related to this incident are asked to contact Detective Inspector Vernon Larocque directly on 368-9809 or via the Major Crime Investigation Team on 368-5682. All information will be treated with discretion and confidentiality will be assured,” said the R.V.I.P.F.
