My Brother's Workshop Partners With Local Businesses and Gov't Agencies to Provide Meals and Essential Items to Vulnerable Population Affected by Coronavirus Pandemic

My Brother’s Workshop has partnered with local government agencies, businesses and other nonprofits during the COVID-19 pandemic to provide meals and essential supplies to seniors, homeless, displaced school children, those with compromised immune systems and families with medical or special needs in the USVI, the organization made known via release Monday. MBW said its longstanding partnerships in the community and their actions after Hurricanes Irma and Maria have placed it in a position to stand in the gap for these vulnerable groups while avoiding duplicating response efforts. MBW Cafe and Bakery stands ready to prepare 200-300 meals daily through their “Meals on Wheels” program on St. Thomas beginning March 24th, 2020, the nonprofit said. Its workshops on St. Thomas and St. Croix will engage in distributions on a needs basis in order to help the territory's most vulnerable population.
