My Brother's Workshop on Monday said it has partnered with Cancer Support VI (CSVI) to spread hope and love to the vulnerable population of the Virgin Islands for #GivingTuesdayNow — a new global day of giving and unity that will take place on May 5 — by providing masks and LOVE buttons to members of the community that would otherwise not have access to them.
MBW said its trainees and staff members have made the masks, and are seeking donors to “sponsor a mask” for community members in need. As many Virgin Islanders don’t have access to a mask to protect themselves and others, they need help. MBW said $20 could provide one individual in need of a mask to wear along with a CSVI LOVE Button, $50 provides 4 masks and LOVE Buttons, $100 secures 10 masks and LOVE buttons and $500 could provide 60 people in need of masks and LOVE buttons.
"We will work with our community partners and volunteer distributors to get these masks into the hands of our vulnerable community members in need," MBW said.
XO Energy (XO Energy Worldwide, LLLP, a partnership which provides software and management consulting services to its affiliated US electricity trading companies, has pledged to match all donations made to the “Spread Hope and Love (Not Covid-19) campaign, April 28th - May 5th (up to $5,000). "That means that with your help, MBW could distribute 1000 masks to our community's most vulnerable population," the nonprofit said.

We all have something to give, and every act of human consideration and kindness matters.”
