Notice Inviting E-Proposals for Security Services for V.I. Port Authority in the St. Thomas/St. John and St. Croix District

The Virgin Islands Port Authority (the “Authority” or “VIPA”) invites the submission of e-proposals from experienced and qualified firms (collectively “Respondents” or individually, a “Respondent”) to provide security services at it’s marine and airport facilities. The Authority intends to enter into a three (3) year Contract with an option to renew for an additional two (2) one-year term. 

The efficiency and quality of the service provided shall be a reflection of VIPA's image and its ability to provide superior customer service in a safe, attractive, and proficient manner. The successful Proponent will be expected to meet stringent safety, efficiency, environmental and quality standards. They are also expected to employ management and operational personnel with experience and expertise in the provision of this service.

Interested entities may view the RFP package by accessing the following link Virgin Islands Port Authority (ionwave.net). Entities wishing to submit a response must register as a Supplier and upload their response to the portal. 

A  Pre-proposal conference will be held at 9:00 a.m. AST on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 for St. Croix Respondents and at 10:00 a.m. AST on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 for St. Thomas/St. John respondents. Respondents may access the pre-proposal conference via the link posted on the Authority’s e-bid website. Proposals are due by no later than Monday, January 24, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. AST.
