ST. CROIX — Banco Popular has broken ground on a new branch in Sunny Isles, St. Croix, the bank has made known via press release. The new facility, aimed at expanding Popular's presence, will provide additional services and enhanced accessibility for customers in the Virgin Islands.
The new branch, located at 93 BB Estate Diamond, will cover approximately 6,500 square feet and feature a modern, single-story design. The facility will include a drive-thru terminal under an Autobank Canopy, enhancing convenience for customers.
Inside, the branch will provide state-of-the-art facilities aimed at delivering a better user experience, according to the release. Features will include teller stations, Autobank services, additional ATM equipment, conference rooms, lounge areas, and ample parking space. The design also incorporates eco-friendly elements such as solar panels, an emergency generator, and an energy-efficient lighting system.
The new Sunny Isles branch will offer a full suite of banking services, including personal and business banking, loans, and investment services.

While construction is underway, Popular Bank customers can continue to visit the existing Sunny Isles branch at the Sunny Isle Shopping Center, 4500 Sion Farm, for all their banking needs.
