In Loving Memory of Keith Isaiah Freeland

January 1, 1943 – September 28, 2026

Keith Isaiah Freeland was born on January 1, 1943, on the beautiful island of Antigua, to the late James and Viola Freeland. He departed this life on September 28, 2026, at the age of 83.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Hal Freeland; and his sisters, Virginia Watkins, Ena Freeland, Rehenia White, Saydis Freeland, Melrose Rhambahjan, and Joycelyn Freeland.

He leaves behind his five children: Thomas Freeland, Percival Freeland, Christine Freeland-Henley, Keith Freeland Jr., and Kenneth Freeland.

Keith is also survived by his wife, Hyacinth Freeland; and his three sisters, Nica Tavernier, Pauline Freeland, and Magaret (Brenda) O’Garro.

His legacy lives on through his eight cherished grandchildren: Kadema Freeland, Kyjahni Freeland, K'Niyah Freeland, Kazari Douglas Freeland, Se’Mya Defoe Freeland, LewMarley Freeland Henley, Kiara Freeland, and LuDaijah Freeland Henley.

He is also survived by his five great-grandchildren: Kamilya Faustin, Kamali Faustin, Mahkai McCleary, Mahkaya McCleary, and Kadeem Williams.

Keith shared a special bond with his niece, Cindy Rollins, and nephew, Peter Cornelius. He also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and loved ones too numerous to mention.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 2, 2026, at Blyden Memorial Funeral Chapel. Tributes will begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Eastern Cemetery.
