Governor John P. de Jongh, Jr. has signed a proclamation designating leave for the territory's workers to participation in the 2014 Christmas Holiday Season, The St. Croix Christmas Carnival and inauguration activities for the Mapp-Potter administration. See the proclamation here.

- Wednesday, December 24, 2014 (Christmas Eve) -- Administrative leave 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. -- Territory wide
- Thursday, December 25, 2014 -- Legal Holiday--Christmas Day
- Friday, December 26, 2014 -- Legal Holiday--Christmas Second Day or Boxing Day
- Tuesday, December 30, 2014 -- Administrative leave -- St. Croix only -- 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. -- St. Croix Carnival, Food, Arts & Craft Fair
- Wednesday, December 31, 2014 -- Administrative leave -- 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. -- Territory wide
- Thursday, January 1, 2015 -- Legal Holiday -- New Year's Day
