Plessen Healthcare, located in Orange Grove, on Saturday hosted what was dubbed a "Health Recovery Fair", following the two storms that ravaged the USVI in September.
The event saw a variety of healthcare professionals and service providers, as well as Federal Emergency Management Agency personnel who conducted disaster assistance signups. The Virgin Islands Department of Health was also on hand.
The event also served as a reuniting affair between service providers and their clients who had lost contact following the storms, according to Plessen CEO Doctor Jan B. Tawakol. The fair began in the morning and went into the afternoon, saw strong turnout and was deemed a success by its organizers. Watch.
