About 8 employees of the Juan F. Luis Hospital's dialysis department are staging a silent protest all Tuesday because of what they described as an overabundance of mold affecting their department, which is on the first floor. Some say they've gotten sick because of the mold, and the situation has only deteriorated and stands the risk of affecting some 72 patients that they tend to regularly.
