Patricia Tranberg Stevens, a retiree who was employed at the V.I.P.D., was out today protesting because she has not received a single check from GERS after retiring in December, 2015. Her home is facing foreclosure, her father is sick and she is at her wits' end. She told us that when someone's backed into a corner, the only thing left to do is fight.
