VIPD Asking For Help In Identifying Man Who Set Chicken On Fire

ST. CROIX -- Virgin Islands Police Department Officers are seeking help from the community here to identify a man who set a chicken on fire and uploaded the video to social media, VIPD Public Information Officer Kevin Jackson announced on Wednesday night. According to Jackson, on Tuesday, September 28, investigators were notified of the video that was posted on Facebook (it seems to have been taken down), showing "several individuals" setting a young fowl ablaze. The incident occurred on Saturday, September 26, at around 6:47 p.m. here, and was uploaded by a user going by the name of ‘Blacks Lee’. The video clip was also uploaded to the Facebook Community Page entitled, “What’s Going on St. Thomas”, where it garnered more than 5,000 views and many negative comments, according to Jackson.
