Two tropical waves are forecast to move across the region, the first one on Sunday and the other on Monday, the National Weather Service advised Friday.
N.W.S. said the activity will increase the potential for showers and thunderstorms with strong gusty winds across the region. Hazardous seas are possible across the Atlantic waters on Tuesday due to a long period northerly swell and a high risk of rip currents is expected between Tuesday and Wednesday across the north facing beaches of the islands.
