Two Mutual Homes men, Elroy Tounge, 18, and Raheem Charlery, 21, were arrested on Friday for reckless endangerment after firing shots at a vehicle in the vicinity of the public housing community in Grove Place, police spokesperson Melody Rames said.
The men were arrested around 8:45 a.m. on October 10 and charged with reckless endangerment and other charges. They were both placed on $50,000 bail and remanded to the Golden Grove Correctional Facility pending further court action.
The shooting happened on July 25, when the two men, one carry a handgun and the other an assault rifle, began firing shots at a man's vehicle. Tounge and Charlery followed the driver of the car to his home, threatening to kill him and brandishing their weapons.
However, after concerned citizens intervened, the two men left without hurting anyone.
