St. Thomas Man Stabbed While Walking Up Fire Burn Hill

A St. Thomas man was stabbed early Friday morning while walking up Fire Burn Hill, police spokesperson Melody Rames has revealed.

The 46-year-old male victim was stabbed just after midnight at least once in the right lower back, and transported to the Schneider Regional Medical Center by ambulance for treatment.

The victim told police the attack happened while he was walking up Fire Burn Hill when a male approached him, stabbed him and escaped on foot.

Criminal Investigation Bureau detectives are investigating the case.
