St. Thomas Arrests: August 21-23

VIPD Public Information Officer Kevin Jackson announced the following arrests on St. Thomas from August 21-23.

Friday, August 21, 2015 – Kyle Woods, 45 (of no fixed address) was arrested and charged with third degree assault (DV) at 7:15 a.m. at the Water Park in Lindbergh Bay. Woods was arrested after being positively identified as the person who assaulted his girlfriend, hitting her with a PVC pipe. Woods was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advise-of-rights hearing.

Saturday, August 22, 2015 – John Munson, 71 (of no fixed address) was arrested and charged with third degree assault at 2:30 a.m., in the vicinity of the beach located near the Battery in Cruz Bay. Munson was arrested after he was positively identified by the claimant and a witness, as the person who struck him with a stick to the head. Unable to make bail of $25,000, Munson was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advise-of-rights hearing.

Sunday, August 23, 2015 – Aris Laurence-Reyes, 31 of Temple Street was arrested and charged with simple assault and battery, after having been placed under citizen's arrest for assaulting a woman. Bail for Laurence-Reyes was set at $500.00
