Man Caught On Surveillance Stealing Car In St. Thomas Arrested

A vehicle stolen from the Bolongo Bay Hotel parking lot in St. Thomas has been recovered by police, after the suspect, 41-year-old Adam Martin of New Hampshire, was caught on surveillance camera operating a green Honda that went missing from the hotel's parking lot, police spokesperson Melody Rames has announced.

Police charged Martin with unauthorized use of a vehicle, grand larceny, damage to a vehicle, possession of stolen property, reckless endangerment and negligent driving.

The arrest was made at 7:05 p.m. on Jan. 13 and Martin's bail was set at $75,000.

Martin has been remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending further court action.
