ST. CROIX -- Government House has issued a press release advising the community that there will be a detour in Christiansted on Wednesday to allow former Lieutenant Governor and Superior Court Judge Julio A. Brady to lie in state (viewing of body) at Government House in Christiansted.
This viewing is open to the community members who wish to pay respects to Mr. Brady and his family. As such, King Street will be closed at the King Cross Street Intersection, traveling east from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Queen Cross Street between Company Street and King Street will be closed, too, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Residents are encouraged to utilize the Christiansted Bypass to avoid delays.
